About the Addax
The Addax listed as a critically endangered species is said by some to be referred to in the bible one time as "Dishon", wild ox, wild bull, and in the revised version of the King James bible were called gazelle's. The Addax is a medium sized mostly white antelope, has long spiral shaped horns. They tend to be stocky and usually have a tuft of brown hair on the head. The can walk easily over sand due to their splayed hooves (Phil. Zoo, 2013).
