Pet Beds
Your pet needs to have their own space to relax in each room of your home that you allow them in. Your pet wants to be near you so you should place their pet bed near you, in each room, where you spend your time. Pet beds give your pet a comfortable place to rest which is easier on and better for their joints, muscles, and bones in their body than a hard floor. Heated or cooling pet beds keep your pet more comfortable and healthier. Teaching your dog or cat to use their own pet bed (even if it means putting their pet bed on your bed if your pet sleeps with you) has some advantages too, like less pet hair on your bed. It's easy to clean your pet beds with a portable hand vacuum and most pet beds are machine washable on gentle cycle.

How to get your Dog or Cat to use a pet bed if they have never used one before
Put a favorite treat or toy on the pet bed to attract your dog or cats attention. If you have been allowing them to sleep on your bed or furniture you can place the pet bed wherever your pet usually sleeps and put your pet in the pet bed. After your pet has slept in the pet bed for a night or two you can move it to where you want the pet bed to be. Pets usually like to sleep near you so you could put it near your bed. When you see your pet resting somewhere, take the pet bed and move it to that spot and put your pet in the bed. Repeat as needed until your pet figures out that is their bed. Do not allow your pet to sleep on your bed or furniture once the pet bed is there. Your pet will figure it out.
